Uber is rolling out its first driverless car service in Pittsburgh

After the world's first self-driving taxi by nuTonomy, world's leading transportation network company Uber is rolling out its first driverless  car service for Pittsburgh customers

A year and a half ago, Uber set up an Advanced Technologies Center (ATC) in Pittsburgh. Its mission: to make self-driving Ubers a reality. It's Incredible to see that Uber rolling out its self-driving cars in market, while giant corporations like Google and Volvo are testing self-driving cars on public roads.

Uber noted that self-driving care will reduce the number of traffic accidents, which today kill 1.3 million people a year.

Currently Uber is inviting Pittsburgh customers to experience the new driverless car. Uber will send it along with a safety driver up front to make sure the ride goes smoothly.

If some are concern about job, because self-driving car will replace the existing drivers. Uber posted, self-driving taxi will be on the road 24 hours a day, which means they will need a lot more human maintenance than cars today.
