Disney launches messaging app 'Disney Mix', safer platform for kids

American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate Disney have entered into new dimension with its own messaging app 'Disney Mix' for kids. Where users can chat, share, and play.

User can Start by personalizing an avatar using some Disney and Pixar characters. And you can add Disney Channels to your Friends List to receive the latest videos and photos. And you can play mini games with your chat mates.

To start playing games with friends, just tap on the remote control/paintbrush icon at the bottom of chat window and Challenge friends to games like Spikes, Cards of Doom, Fireworks, Writer's Block and  Meme Machine.

Disney wants to make it's platform safer and alternative to some popular apps. When users sign up for the 'Disney Mix', they agree to community rules, including 'stay safe','respect others' and 'keep it clean.' The first suggestion is "Don't share details about yourself with people you don't know." and users can't use "Inappropriate language".

If rules will be broken by users. They will be temporary or permanent banned from the app.

If user see any unfriendly chat, they can report that conversation to moderators by clicking the “Whistle” icon on the top of that chat thread. Users can also remove someone from their Friends List at any time by swiping left on their name in your Friend’s List and tapping the “Remove” icon.

Disney Mix is available for Android(OS 4.4 or up) and iOS(iOS 7 0r Up) to download for free.
