Opera introduced Built-in Ad blocker for Opera Mini Android and Computer

In the segment of entering into ad blocking business, opera has introduced Built-in ad blocker in Opera Mini and Opera for computers.

Company has previously introduced ad blocker for its desktop version, Opera for computers and Opera Mini for Android now come with integrated ad-blocking technology.

Company is promising, loading webpages 40% faster than without the ad blocker technology. Opera for computers speeds up page loading by as much as 89%, compared to browsing without ad blocking, and up to 45% compared to browsers with third-party ad-blocking extensions.

To enable ad blocker, go to “O” menu at bottom in Opera Mini, tap the data-savings summary. On iOS, ad blocking is available in Opera Turbo savings mode, and, on Android, it is available in both savings modes. From there, simply toggle “Block ads” on or off.

To deactivate it for a specific website, click the shield icon in the search and address bar and flip the switch.

Company noted that, it will be helpful if you are using limited data plan. But, do people will use it for limited data plan only ? I don't think so. People will use it even if they are using free WiFi(Unlimited). It's just another Nail on coffin of free internet.
