Android Studio 2.2 Preview with new layout editor

Google has launched Android Studio 2.2 Preview, with new features that the company demonstrated at its I/O 2016 event.

Among the new feature, the new layout editor was most notable, it will help to design the layouts in your app visually, blueprint mode and the new properties panel allow you to quickly edit layouts and widgets faster.

With new Firebase integration, you can access services like analytic, authentication, notifications and AdMob right within the IDE, and record Espresso UI tests and generate test code just by using your app.

New Code Sample Browser, Within the code editor window, find occurrences of your app code snippets in Google Android sample code.

The company noted that this is "large update" and Android Studio is now choice for 92 percent of the top 125 apps & game developers on Google Play.

These features are available for today in the Android Studio 2.2 preview. And Of course, it's not stable version so it can be bit buggy too.
