Hack Chromebook and Google Could Pay You $100k

Ever since Chrome Reward Program was launched in January 2010, IT giant Google is known for rewarding big bucks to hackers that can crack its security, this time google is going further;company is doubling its $50,000 bug bounty.

Google is going to pay $100,000 reward for participants that can compromise a Chromebook or Chromebox with device persistence in guest mode.

Google has paid more than $2,000,000 to researchers for their work to make Google users safer. Last year google introduced a $50,000 reward for the persistent compromise of a Chromebook in guest mode.

Since google introduced the $50,000 reward, company haven't had a successful submission. That said, great research deserves great awards, so company is putting up a standing six-figure sum, available all year round with no quotas and no maximum reward pool.

Company is focusing on critical, high and medium impact bugs, but campany said any clever vulnerability at any severity might get a reward. Rewards for qualifying bugs typically range from $500 to $100,000.
