Facebook is adding a new daily breakdowns for video metrics in an segment of upgrading its analytics on video for Pages.

company said that, its 'most requested' feature from video publishers; ever since they simplified the video metrics interface.

"This new data gives Page owners a better understanding of when their audiences are watching their videos, providing a more detailed picture of performance that we hope will help publishers inform their video strategies".

The day-to-day summaries include three key metrics:

  1. Minutes Viewed: The total minutes of watch time spent on the video on a particular day.

  2. Views: The number of times your video was viewed on a particular day.

  3. 10-second views: The number of times the video was viewed to 10 seconds on a particular day. If the video is shorter than 10 seconds, this metric refers to the number of times people viewed at least 97 percent of the video.

These new metrics are available through Page Insights and your Video Library. And, These metrics will be coming to the Insights API soon.
