Meet Geet! India's Wheelchair Artist. Geet is an example for those who do not think of advancing the cause of disability.Geet did not give up despite she was on Wheelchair, and now she is a Motivation for all of us to not give up at any cost. she has participated in a reality show, and she was selected for top 75 in a country of over 1 billion people.
Geet dreamed of being a Bollywood actress. she was sleeping in the back seat of my parent’s care when we were in a horrible car accident. When she woke up,she was told she would never walk again. she was confined to a wheelchair. She did school plays and street dramas, but Bollywood seemed impossible.
when She was visiting India, she saw a commercial for auditions for a reality show. And the winners were going to get their own Bollywood movie. At first she tried to ignore the commercial because she thought it wasn’t for me.
But then Geet's sister convinced geet that she had to at least try. This was her one chance to try and live her dream. she couldn’t just let it go so easily.
Geet got selected for top 75 in a country of over 1 billion people.
But then the next round was a Bollywood dance round.
Sitting on wheelchair, But it wasn’t enough. The judges said she couldn’t dance.
Time to wake up. The dream was over.
But, over the years, I have learned that its not failure that sets you apart. We all fail. It is what you do after that that can make a difference.
I once read that Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team for lack of skill. Marilyn Monroe lost her acting contract after just 1 year because she was wasn’t beautiful enough, she wasn’t talented enough. And Albert Einstein was expelled from school and his teachers described him as mentally slow. But all of these people went on to achieve great things because they didn’t let their failure become fatal. They continued to try. They weren’t quitters.
I am not a quitter.
I am not going to let my failure become fatal. I am going to continue to strive and run after my Bollywood Dream.
And I invite you to join me on this journey. I encourage you to share my video and help get it into the hands of those who can make my dream a reality. Thank you!
I also hope this inspirational speech and motivational video encourages you to never quit despite failure and to continue to pursue your impossible dream. Failure is not an option.
