Facebook Announced Its new Data Center in Ireland

Facebook has announced that their new data center will be stablish in Ireland. This data center will be in Clonee, County Meath, Ireland. The Clonee data center will be our first in Ireland and follows LuleƄ, in Sweden, as second in Europe.

Ireland has been international headquarters since 2009, and new Clonee data center will continue Facebook’s significant investment in the country and in Europe.


Company said, this center will care about on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and more.

Company said that this data center in Clonee will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy, thanks to Ireland’s robust wind resources. Company wants to powering 50 percent of infrastructure with clean and renewable energy by the end of 2018.
